Barnes Blues Band

High calibre rock blues. Helmed by vocalist and guitarist Bobby Tench (Jeff Beck, Humble Pie, Freddie King), the band attracts a broad broad fan base. Tench and Papa George are backed by the rhythmn section of Pete Rees, Gary Moore’s long time bass player and drummer Darby Todd who has appeared with Buddy Whittington and Gary Moore amongst others. The line up is completed by Paul Jobson on keyboards, who has backed Chaka Khan and Joss Stone. LIVE DATES

Bobby Tench's career spans forty five years as an internationally respected vocalist and guitarist who has recorded and toured on both sides of the Atlantic. He is best known for his work with Jeff Beck, Hummingbird, Freddie King, Van Morrison, Humble Pie and Streetwalkers.








Papa George is a respected U.K blues guitarist/vocalist who has recorded with his own band and as a solo artist.








Pete Rees is an established London based bass player, best known as a long time member of Gary Moore's touring and studio band line-up.








Darby Todd has worked and made live appearances with an eclectic host of artists including Hot Legs (Justin Hawkins), The Darkness, Robert Plant, Gary Moore, Huey Lewis, Buddy Whittington and Alan Price.








Paul Jobson toured with Trafficker and fronts his own band Cut the funk. He has has backed Chaka Khan, Joss Stone and Debbie Bonds amongst others.
